Corporate Program Specialists At VMI Architecture we have developed processes within our company to accomodate the specialized design and program management needs of major corporation clients. Entitlements & Permitting The process of aquiring entitlements and permits from local jurisdictions is becoming more and more difficult every day. To help our clients navigate their way through this, sometime seemingly endless maze, we have successfully devised systems to establish dialogue with the City staff early on and develop a plan of action on a case by case basis to assist clients in achieving their entitlements and permits as expediently as possible. Site Feasibility Studies Most often, performing diligent research prior to the start of a project is the key to that project's overall success. We perform these services by researching all aspects of the site and determining its opportunities and constraints. A report of our findings is compiled and presented to the client. This report will then be used throughout the life of the project from land aquisition to project occupancy avoiding potential unexpected costs and delays. Accessibility Compliance Our clients rely on us to determine the sometimes very complicated California (Title 24) and the Federal (ADA) accessibility standards. We provide this service in existing locations as well as new construction. Interior Design Our interior design department provides interior architecture from space planning to materials, finishes, and color selections to ensure an integrated design that compliments the building's exterior. Technology We use the latest versions of AutoCAD to do our drafting, and a combination of Photoshop and CAD drawings to create professional renderings. The digital technology and the use of three dimensional modeling is a powerful tool to develop and refine design concepts, as well as an impressive presentation technique. Green Building The knowledge and expertise of our LEED Certified architects and engineering consultants allows us to incorporate sustainable design concepts throughout our designs.
